Good morning, back to work for those of us who didn’t have a blizzard or flood. I’m combining two photo themes in this posting. “People at Work Monday” and “Monochrome Monday”.  All the photos were taken in New Ipswich, NH.

The bridge in Smithville was repaired in 2010 by replacing the rusted steel pipe with a series of very large cement sections. A large crane did the lifting. It seemed like a good candidate for some selective coloration.

154th Childrens Fair – A Preview

This Saturday the 154th Children’s Fair will be held at the New Ipswich Congregational Church. It is a wonderful community event and I am happy to be participating. I will be be working in the Garden Shop and I encourage folks to stop  in and say hello.

The folks at the New Ipswich Congregational Church spent two evenings peeling apples, making pie crust and baking 100 pies to be distributed with food baskets for needy families in the local area.  The baskets are distribute by the St Vincent de Paul – Sacred Heart Food Pantry in Greenville, NH
