Good morning readers, it’s throwback thursday. I’m featuring some photos taken 10 years ago in January of 2006.
Ten years ago we had two cats, Pickles and Sam. Pickles was a fierce hunter and warrior and preferred to be outside in any weather. Sam was mellow and an easygoing. Sadly both are gone now.

Happy Saturday folks, as I type this Buster is warming himself next to me and snoring. I’m going back in the archives today with a few scanned transparencies.
Mojo meets Godzilla – In 1973 we were living in Leominster, MA when I was working at Digital Equipment Corp. We had several cats. Mojo was the mellow one and allowed all kinds of indignities, including being posed for this photo.
Twinkie was a family favorite who had a great personality. We were quite sad when he got ill and passed on.

In May of 2012 I was photographing some of the portable classrooms that had been erected on the campus of Appleton Academy. The original school had been closed because it was deemed not in compliance with fire codes.
While I was there I noticed an older gentlemen with two cats on the steps of the Academy. He introduced himself as Phil Breton, a former teacher at the Academy. Appleton was a Prep School from 1968-1974. The main building and the six surrounding buildings comprised the campus. Phil taught French at the school and told me a bit about the daily routines at the school.
I was visiting my daughter in Boston and spent some time making friends with her cat. He was a bit wary and in typical feline fashion he decided to find an appropriate perch. The photo was taken March 03, 2015.
