Mason / New Ipswich Early Morning Crime Spree

Thank you for using my link for your online purchases.

On Wednesday, August 13th the Monadnock Ledger had a report about an Early Morning Crime Spree that occurred in the early morning on August 10th.

I did not need to wait for the newspaper to learn of the fate of a stolen truck. About 6 AM there was a crash outside our home which knocked out our power (but curiously not our internet).

Abandoned stolen truck. The passengers escaped on foot
The driver’s door was left open after the thieves fled the scene.
They were traveling up Fox Farm Road when the crash occurred. My neighbor speculated that they must have traveling at 70 miles an hour. It’s curious why they chose this road which is not connected to any major highway.
Air bags deployed. My neighbor mentioned smelling alcohol.
The Eversource crew had the pole replaced and power restored within just a few hours.
