|I think a few years of working the soil has paid off. The tomatoes look nice and green.
Last year they were anemic in my failed attempt to grow them in 5 gallon buckets.
I also added some “Chicken Gold” compost purchased at Amazing Flower Farm here in New Ipswich.
|I’m tired of kneeling to pick snap beans, so once again I’m going to try a climbing pole variety. This is the first year that I have used straw as a mulch but I’m sold. I purchased this at Mason Brook Nursery, another local business in nearby Mason, NH|
|Everybody should grow peonies, they are the perfect perennial. They die back in the winter, they are insect resistant, they live about 75 years and they are absolutely beautiful.|
