Time for some mulled apple cider

It’s been a great year for fruit. My peach tree almost fell over from the weight. Thankfully a friend picked the fruit and repaid me with a nice selection of jam and salsa (NOTE: peach salsa is great on Salmon).

The apple harvest has been amazing, everyone has bushels of apples. What  can be done with all of those?

Cider presses were a big hit at the harvest fairs in Temple, New Ipswich and Peterborough. The press shown in these photos was featured at the New Ipswich Harvest Fair.
