Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens – Giles Rhododendron and Children Gardens

The Coastal Maine Botanical Garden is Maine’s first and only botanical garden. The land was purchased in 1991 in Boothbay, ME in an area slated for development.On our tour these were the areas we visited after seeing Lerner Garden of the Five Senses and the Haney Hillside Garden.

Waterfall at the Giles Rhododendron Garden. Not many photos of the plantings. The photos didn’t do it justice. This was the first garden created on the property and perhaps the most beautiful.
