They are clever and relentless. I had a deterrent system in place using a fence charger but the squirrels managed to remove the wires when it went offline (GFI tripped). I haven’t reinstalled it yet. Even if it were in full operation this guy would be safe since I depend on the upside down feeders to “complete the circuit”.
My system is humane and non-lethal. My only purpose is keep these guys from sitting for hours and devouring all the bird seed. I do admit that he is awfully cute.
