Hampton Seafood Festival 2010

It seemed like a good idea, a row of tents serving seafood at Hampton Beach on a perfectly beautiful September day. Only problem for folks who abhor crowds (like me) was that it was too popular. I falsely assumed that we would be getting small samples of different foods from different restaurants for free instead of shelling out 4 to 5 dollars per serving in addition to the entrance fee. I’m glad we went but this will not be an annual event.

Crustacean headgear was popular.
Wonder about the nutritional value of this
Trained seagull who realize that plenty of food is available from unwary beach goers.
When things get busy sometimes the clam bellies aren’t fully cooked. Google undercooked shellfish.
